Promotion Terms & Conditions
  1. The Promoter is Smiths City 2020 Ltd. and Smiths City Finance, 261 Opawa Road, Hillsborough, Christchurch.
  2. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
  3. The Promotion starts 1 March 2021 and ends 31 March 2021.
  4. The Promotion is open to Smiths City customers with EasyCard accounts as at 28 February 2021 only.
  5. To enter, sign up to receive your monthly EasyCard statements by email during March 2021.
  6. Entries are limited to one per person.
  7. The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or negotiable and is not redeemable for cash.
  8. By entering, the Winner agrees to accept their prize in-person from the participating Smiths City location and to be available for reasonable publicity purposes without compensation, including but not limited to photographs and interviews if requested. Entrants acknowledge that their details may be published in various media.
  9. One Winner will be selected from eligible entrants.
  10. The Winner will be determined by the Promoter by method of random draw. All prizes must be claimed within 14 days of the winners being notified. Prizes that remain unclaimed after this time will be forfeited and a new Winner will be drawn.
  11. The draw for the Prize will take place on at the offices of Smiths City, 261 Opawa Road, Hillsborough, Christchurch.
  12. The Winner will be contacted by phone or email no later than 9 April 2021. The Winner’s name may be published on our websites smithscity.co.nz and smithscityfinance.co.nz, our Smiths City Facebook page, and any participating supplier's website or Facebook page.
  13. Entries that are illegible, incomplete or do not comply with these Terms are invalid. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants as required (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to request the Winner provide suitable identification of proof of age and identity prior to awarding the Prize.
  15. The draw for any unclaimed Prize(s) will take place at the offices of Smiths City, 261 Opawa Road, Hillsborough, Christchurch.
  16. The Winner of the unclaimed Prize draw will be contacted by email. The Winner’s name may be published on our website smithscity.co.nz, Smiths City Facebook page and any participating supplier's website or Facebook page.
  17. The Promoter and any participating Suppliers reserve the right to announce and/or publish the Winners name and/or photograph for publicity purposes.
  18. The Promoter and any participating Suppliers may at their absolute discretion, suspend, cancel or recommence the Promotion if (a) for any reason the Promotion is not capable of proceeding as planned; (b) if the Promotion is corrupted or the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion is affected; or (c) if the determination of the winners or delivery of prizes is prevented or hindered by any event outside the Promoters control subject to approval by relevant regulatory authorities.
  19. Except for any liability not excluded by law, entrants release and indemnify the Promoter and any participating Suppliers from and against all actions, claims and liabilities, that the entrant now has or in the future may have against the Promoter and any participating Suppliers for any loss, damage or injury (including any special or consequential loss) suffered as a direct or indirect result of the Entrant's participation in the Promotion.
  20. The Promoter's decision in relation to this Promotion is final and binding on entrants and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence.
  21. By entering the Promotion, Entrants consent to their personal information being used by the Promoter, any participating Suppliers and/or its related entities for the purpose of conducting this Promotion, notifying the Winners and distributing Prizes. All personal details of the entrant will be stored at the offices of the Promoter. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office.
  22. Employees, contractors and immediate families of employees and contractors of the Promoter, their related entities and any other organisations associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.
