Terms and Conditions:
By entering the draw you agree to the following terms:

ENTRY: To validly enter a draw you must: (a) enter within the Weekly Draw period open when you make an eligible purchase from Smiths City, (b) submit your correct details to the competition landing page at www.smithscity.co.nz/win, (c) be 18 years old or older at the time you submit your details, (d) have spent at least $100 (including GST) in a single transaction with Smiths City during the Weekly Draw period open at that time, (e) be a New Zealand resident (for tax purposes) at the time of the draw, and (f) not be an employee, contractor to, director of, or the immediate family member or partner of an employee, contractor or director of, Smiths City or any of its group companies. Commercial purchases are excluded from this promotion.

Smiths City assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or any delayed entries. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the competition database, not at the time of transmission by the entrant.

ONE ENTRY PER $100 SPENT: Every $100 spent in a single transaction by an eligible entrant with Smiths City entitles you to enter both the Weekly Prize Draw open at the time of the transaction and the Grand Prize Draw. So, for example, spend $300, and receive three entries to the applicable Weekly Prize Draw and three entries to the Grand Prize Draw. The Weekly Prize Draw you enter will depend on the date of purchase.

DRAW: Each Weekly Prize Draw will be drawn within [48 hrs] of the conclusion of the relevant entry period for that draw. The Grand Prize Draw shall take place at the same time as the last Weekly Prize Draw.

WINNING: One winner will be drawn for each draw at random from the valid entries received. In the event that the winner cannot be contacted within 48hrs, a new winner may be drawn and the originally drawn winner will forfeit any claim to the prize. Smiths City is not obliged to attempt to contact you more than once or other than by the contact details you supplied. If you are a drawn winner you must be available to collect your prize in person otherwise Smiths City may (in its discretion) invalidate your entry and draw a new winner and you will forfeit your claim to the prize. Prizes cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash without Smiths City express permission which it may grant or withhold in its sole discretion.

PRIZES: The winner of a Weekly Prize Draw wins an Ultimate Kiwi Outdoor Package from Smiths City with a value of $10,000 including GST (calculated at the current non-discounted Smiths City store price). Should any of the items in the Ultimate Kiwi Outdoor Package be out of stock Smiths City reserves the right to substitute that item with an equivalent product or delay delivery of the product. The winner of the Grand Prize draw wins a Peugeot 5008 Allure 7-Seat SUV valued from $51,990 including GST + On Road Costs (ORC) The winner will take receipt of the vehicle on or before 31st January 2019.

PRIZE DELIVERY: All prizes must be picked up by the winner at the collection point nominated by Smiths City. The winner of the Grand Prize Draw must have a valid driver’s licence in order to pick up the car or get a licenced driver with them to drive the car and must be in a position to execute the necessary ownership papers at collection.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS: Smiths City reserves the right to cancel or suspend this competition in whole or part and to update the terms & conditions without notice at any time.

PUBLICITY: Entry into a draw gives Smiths City consent to use your name and photograph for any publicity associated with these promotions.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: By entering the competition you agree to Smiths City entering your personal information into its database and using that information in marketing its products and services to you.

NO LIABILITY: Smiths City’s sole obligation under these terms is to conduct the prize draws and award the prizes as described. You acknowledge that Smiths City has no liability to you in respect of these draws and to the maximum extent permitted by law Smiths City excludes any liability it may owe to you, however arising. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to $100.

You accept that you are solely responsible for any costs you may incur in accepting or using a prize, including, but not limited to, insurance and vehicle registration.
