Only the original purchaser is eligible to exchange their Sleepyhead mattress under this Comfort Guarantee. The original mattress being exchanged (‘Original Mattress’) must be a Sleepyhead mattress purchased from Smiths City and (a) was recommended to the original purchaser by a staff member in-store or (b) during Alert Level 3 and 4 the purchaser must have used our online Sleep Selector at www.smithscity.co.nz/beds and had a sales team consultation prior to bed delivery (0800 764847). The Original Mattress needs to be slept on for at least 30 nights to allow your body to adjust. The original purchaser must contact the store the purchase was made from between 30 and 45 nights from the delivery date to advise they want to exchange their Original Mattress. A mattress protector must have been purchased from Smiths City at time of purchase of the Original Mattress and used on the Original Mattress at all times. If the Original Mattress is damaged or soiled in any way including but not limited to cuts, rips, tears, stains or smells then it cannot be exchanged under this Comfort Guarantee. The Original Mattress can only be exchanged for another Sleepyhead branded mattress (‘New Mattress’). The Comfort Guarantee does not apply to a base, mattress protector, special orders, customised sizing, Californian King and Single sizes. If the price paid for the Original Mattress is lower than the price of the New Mattress at the date of exchange then purchaser must pay the difference including any applicable pick up or delivery charges that apply at the time. If the price paid for the Original Mattress is higher than the price of the New Mattress at the time of exchange than the purchaser will be refunded the difference less any pick up or delivery charges that apply at the time. This Comfort Guarantee is in addition to other rights and remedies you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and in no way limits those rights.
