Bonus $106 Smiths City Gift Card with Purple Visa Card Long Term Interest Free Promotion Terms and Conditions

1. The promotion is valid from 24 July until 20 August 2024 (the “Promotional Period”).

2. To receive a $106 Smiths City Gift Card (the “Promotion”), you must be a new Purple Visa Card customer,

a. who applied for a Purple Visa Card instore at Smiths City, and successfully opened a Card Account;

b. applied for and completes an Interest Free purchase with a total spend of $1,000 and over instore at Smiths City within the Promotional Period (the "Qualifying Transaction"); and

c. not be a new Additional Cardholder.

3. To be eligible for the promotion, together with clause b above, you must ensure:

a. your Card Account is open (and not in arrears or overdue) after the Promotional Period ends, and

b. the purchase is for personal shoppers only and excludes Trade and Commercial purchases (“Eligible Customer”).

4. Qualifying Transactions excludes any standard Purple Visa Card transactions.

6. If you are an Eligible Customer, you will receive the $106 Smiths City Gift Card instore when you complete the Qualifying Transaction:

a. For the avoidance of doubt, you will not receive a $106 Smiths City Gift Card for your second Qualifying Transaction (or any subsequent Qualifying Transactions) made by the Main Cardholder or Additional Cardholder.

7. Your Card Account details must be up to date (including a phone number, email address and postal address). Smiths City will not re-issue or re-send the $106 Smiths City Gift Card if your details are incorrect. It is your responsibility to ensure that your Card Account details are correct.

8. All decisions of SBS Money Limited and Smiths City are final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

9. SBS Money Limited are the promoters and issuers of the Purple Visa Card and Smiths City are providers of the $106 Smiths City Gift Card. Fulfilment of the Gift Card is also completed by Smiths City. SBS Money Limited accepts no responsibility for the quality of goods and services or suitability provided.

10. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable terms and conditions and relevant Privacy Statements or Policies.

11. If for any reason SBS Money Limited and Smiths City are unable to run the Promotion as planned, they reserve the right (in their sole discretion) to extend, postpone, amend, reschedule or cancel the Promotion at any time on the provision of reasonable notice, which shall include posting notice of the change on www.smithscity.co.nz/purple.

12. SBS Money Limited, Smiths City and any other agencies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which may be sustained, directly or indirectly by any cardholder in connection with this Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

13. Any capitalised terms used in these Terms and Conditions but not defined shall have the meaning set out in the Purple Visa Card Terms and Conditions.

14. To redeem the Smiths City Gift Card simply present it at the time of purchase at any one of Smiths City’s physical stores in New Zealand. The Gift Card is non-refundable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and includes GST. Lost or stolen Gift Cards are the responsibility of the holder. The remaining gift card balance can be checked in-store.
