Purchase any Mitsubishi Electric Heat Pump and be in to win a Mitsubishi Electric 328L Stainless Multi-Drawer Fridge valued at $1959 RRP*.

SPECIFIC TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. THE PROMOTION PERIOD

The promotion opens at 12am Monday 1 April 2024 and closes at 11.59pm Friday 31 May 2024. Entries must be received during this time in order to qualify for the prize draw.

2. THE PRIZE POOL

1x Mitsubishi Electric 328L Stainless Multi-Drawer Fridge - MR-CX328ER-ST-A valued at $1959 RRP

3. HOW TO ENTER

To validly enter the draw, you must:

a) purchase any Mitsubishi Electric heat pump in-store at Smiths City during the promotion period and provide your contact details at the time of purchase. One entry per item purchased.

b) Be 18 years old or older and a resident of New Zealand at the time you enter.

Employees, contractors and immediate families of employees and contractors of the Promoter, their related entities and any other organisations associated with this Promotion, are ineligible to enter.

Personal shoppers only. Trade and Commercial customers and purchases are ineligible to enter.

4. WINNER SELECTION

One winner will be selected from the overall pool of valid entrants at random by 7 June 2024.

The draw for the Prize will take place at the offices of Smiths City 2020 Ltd., 550 Colombo Street, Christchurch.

In the event that a winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours, a new winner may be drawn and the original drawn winner will forfeit any claim to the prize. Smiths City is not obliged to attempt to contact you more than once, or other than by the contact details you supplied.

Prizes cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash without Smiths City’s express permission which it may grant or withhold at its sole discretion.

5. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Smiths City reserves the right to cancel this competition and to update the terms & conditions without notice.

6. PUBLICITY

Entry into a draw gives Smiths City consent to use your name and photograph for any publicity associated with this promotion.

7. LIABILITY

Smiths City’s sole obligation under these terms is to conduct the prize draws and award the prizes as described. You acknowledge that Smiths City has no liability to you in respect of these draws and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Smiths City excludes any liability it may owe to you, however arising.

Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these and the Specific Terms and Conditions.

The Promotion is governed by New Zealand law.

Entrants must be aged 18 years or over and a resident of New Zealand.

The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or negotiable and is not redeemable for cash.

By entering, the Winner agrees to accept their prize as described in Section 4 and to be available for reasonable publicity purposes without compensation, including, but not limited to, photographs and interviews if requested. Entrants acknowledge that their details may be published in various media.

Entries that are incomplete or do not comply with these Terms are invalid.

The Promoters reserve the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants as required (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or who tampers with the entry process.

The Promoters reserve the right to request the Winner provide suitable identification of proof of age, identity, and residence prior to awarding the Prize.

The draw for any unclaimed Prize will take place at the offices of Smiths City (2020) Ltd, 550 Colombo Street, Christchurch.

The Winner of the unclaimed Prize draw will be contacted by email. The Winner’s name may be published on our website smithscity.co.nz, Smiths City Facebook page and any participating supplier's website or Facebook page.

The Promoters and any participating Suppliers reserve the right to announce and/or publish the Winner’s name and/or photograph for publicity purposes.

The Winner’s name may be published on our website, social media channels, and any participating supplier's websites or social media channels.

The Promoter and any participating Suppliers, may at their absolute discretion, suspend, cancel or recommence the Promotion if:

• for any reason the Promotion is not capable of proceeding as planned;
• the Promotion is corrupted, or the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion is affected; or
• if the determination of the winners or delivery of prizes is prevented or hindered by any event outside the Promoters control, subject to approval by relevant regulatory authorities.
• Except for any liability not excluded by law, entrants release and indemnify the Promoters and any participating Suppliers from and against all actions, claims and liabilities, that the entrant now has, or in the future may have, against the Promoters and any participating Suppliers for any loss, damage or injury (including any special or consequential loss) suffered as a direct or indirect result of the Entrant's participation in the Promotion.

The Promoter’s decision in relation to this Promotion is final and binding on entrants and the Promoters will not enter into any correspondence.

By entering the Promotion, entrants consent to their personal information being used by the Promoters, any participating Suppliers and/or its related entities for the purpose of conducting this Promotion, notifying the winner and distributing the prize. All personal details of the entrant will be stored at the offices of the Promoters. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office.
